Same anon who told you about Maaya 2. About a public release schedule, I dont know when its. Some comments on yt say maybe on saturday and some say how it will not be on yt anymore, it will be only in app. I am hoping for more eps on yt because I cant pay trough google play :(

Hmm, looking back through the previous shows, not all of them are released past the first ep, but the ones that are, like Hadh, are released weekly it looks like. So I suppose we will see.

What’s the issue you’re having with google play? Maybe it can be gifted? Come off anon and we can try to figure out a way to make it work.

Edit: If you look at their playlists page, they only seem to have them for the shows they intend to post fully, and Maaya 2 is up there. And its playlist already has a private video on it, so perhaps that’s the second ep, to be posted soon.

Go at youtube and search for Maaya 2, a new webserie. First watch all promos then the first episode. Let me see what you think.

Yes, ma’am, Anon ma’am.

So…wow! Good call on starting with the promos, they revealed a ton of the story, progressively more of it. I was first getting major The Rich Man’s Daughter vibes but this seems way more intense (if that’s even possible). It’s the guy, he seems awful and the homophobia from him very extreme and personal.

I gotta say, the first promo starting off with the Roohi character talking about girls who like girls in Hindi, a language my family speaks, that felt so bizarre and cool!

I’ve not watched the first ep yet, but I’ll definitely try to watch the series when I can. Do you know when the other eps will be released? I actually downloaded the app in the link and was able to get access to the other eps, but I’m wondering what the public release schedule is, if any.

not sure if you’ve already read this but it’s an interview with the show’s psychiatry consultant: http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglophenia/2018/05/what-really-happens-when-you-tell-a-psychopath-theyre-a-psychopath-a-qa-with-bbc-americas-killing-eves-psychiatry-consultant

Oh, I had not! Thanks, that is actually rather illuminating.

“Some psychologists believe that psychopathic disorder is actually the mind’s way of defending itself against a traumatic upbringing; a mask of sanity laid over a very conflicted, confused and maybe even vulnerable individual.“

Hmm. I’d kind of thought Eve wanted a reason to explain V’s behavior so it’d be less bad, but there’s science behind it? Well, maybe there’s science behind it, “some” psychologists “believe” it but no evidence either way.

Separate from V and the show but hmmmzz;

“Psychopaths are not super-human predators who are immune to fear and other emotions; they are missing something quite fundamental that helps define what makes everyone else human. What we haven’t figured out yet is how to give this back to them, and that is our failing.“
