2,000500 selling books on all of amazon right now, so i count that as a success!i’m going to share my tactics with all of you because it’s entirely replicable and all of you are better writers than i am, so there’s no reason why you can’t smash it out of the fucking park too
this assumes you already know the basics of writing and all that jazz, and don’t find it too hard to write 30-50k stories. okay? okay. here goes!

How is it that you give one ending a hella lot of time. You show the photos, you show the now and then and future. You show people and how they were affected.
But my ending is so damn short it fits in my pocket and I didn’t get any stills, or short sequence showing THEIR future together. I didn’t get anything. Just driving away with an ambiguous nudge and smile.
A dumb kiss polaroid at the end of the scene would have sufficed. If one ending is 3 times the length of the other, how come asking for extra 20 seconds is so much?
