The women of the pier ??? (the mom can go…)

Hah, yes! Same. Alex and Vero, no question, I adore them, but I really like Katia and Ada too. The mom…she IS just so unrelentingly selfish and chance after chance Alex gives her, she remains so utterly focused on herself. Ada’s just a kid, I’m not gonna blame her for going along with Blanca, and Katia’s definitely not perfect, but she tries, she learns. Blanca…eesh.

Well, the light is actually pretty bright in here. The sea looks green, but the sky blue. You have to walk about 100 meters from the shore to get to the deep part. La Albufera is surrounded by rice fields, so very green and lots of mosquitos. Do you know the painting “Cosiendo la vela” by Sorolla? That’s the light. I kept getting confused reading about the series because the “Álex” actress is called Verónica in real life. Thank you for answering.

Oh, man, that sounds like paradise. Except the mosquitoes, heh. But I LOVE that kind of sunlight, we used to get it in Pakistan and I really miss it here. I thought it’d be the green I’d miss most but honestly, it’s the sky.

And heh, yeah, I caught that too. It must be wild just shouting your own name. 😀

So Grace comes back to life? I didn’t see the movie before because I accidentally spoiled myself & read that Grace died ?

Uhhh, I–well, I don’t know if you want to be spoiled without watching it for yourself, anon? If you know the premise of the Terminator movies, with the time travel and all, you can kind of figure out how the two things reconcile?

If you really want to know before you watch, I’ll put it after the cut below so you have the chance to decide for yourself if you want to read:

Future Grace, who has traveled back in time, dies. But we see at the end of the movie, Present Grace still alive, as a kid, and Present Dani vowing that this time she won’t let Grace die for her, with the implication that the future CAN be changed and they have multiple chances to get this right and this time Future Grace will continue to live. I actually have a lot of thoughts about this but–you should watch first, heh.
