What do you think of the dream Wren was having in Proven Innocent?

Hmm, I actually thought it was a flashback disguised as a nightmare, like, this isn’t so much a vague hypothetical fear she has of something happening to Maddie but something that has happened.

While a part of me wonders at how minimized Wren often seems to be, I can’t help but notice that pretty much all of Maddie’s memories of prison revolve around her. Even this glimpse of her getting STABBED is through Wren’s eyes. It reminds me of when Maddie had her own little flash of memory, when she and Easy were discussing not being able to hide the color of their skin vs hiding who you love, and there was a very short cut to her and Wren holding hands in prison. Was this a consequence of that?

This show’s built on reveals and I know Maddie’s prison time isn’t necessarily relevant to the actual overarching mystery of who killed Rosemary but surely it’s important to Maddie’s individual story. Which makes Wren kind of important however else they treat her. Right? It’s always possible for them to simply cut her out, shows do all the time, but then it’s very obvious as the bad writing it is. If they’re going to explore significant Maddie memories, like of her being stabbed, Wren has to be there.
