THANK YOU for posting maya ive been trying to find her for the longest. I saw the gifs with her at the pool with like 21 000 notes and I was immediately ???interested lmao. That show has many, many gorgeous women (also vic? WASTED lesbian potential ugh) but maya is my fave. Also that uniform? It WORKS. eso when they just have the pants and t-shirt. I feel like I’m living in golden age of hot gay women on TV feeling #blessed lol

 Heh, yeah, that clip was super fun! It had everything. 

I wouldn’t say many women, most of the time it’s three? Barring guest stars, it’s mostly just Andy, Maya, and Vic. Who is, yes, totally wasted potential. Actually, I have a friend who ships her and Maggie from Grey’s but I guess it’s just gonna be Jackson in the middle for now. But never say never, with this show/franchise, considering Teddy.

The uniforms are a special bonus, especially when there are like three different versions of them. And the t-shirt and pants version definitely shows them off well. 3×06 was a Maya showcase in that particular outfit.

I’ve also just finished El Embarcadero, which I’d started watching after seeing some of your gifs, and I loved it, so thanks for that! After finishing it I went through your tag to read your thoughts on it (and I totally agree with them). I love that you’re entertaining the idea of giffing it again ;))

I DO want to add more, the whole of s2, practically, is undone. Did I even finish ep 1?? *gasp* I didn’t! I had the next one, after Alex got into bed, all ready to make and then. I didn’t. I have all these scattered drafts in different fandoms lying around… I’ll try to get back to this one, I swear!

I just subscribed to sling and now I have access to Killjoys. Its 100% going to be my next quarantine watch after westworld and it is all your fault. You are the master of Killjoys recruitment.

Oooh, nice! I hope you enjoy it! It’s quite different from Westworld, obviously in budget but also in tone. It starts off quite campy and silly but I think it really comes into its own and of course the optimism and themes of family and companionship are pretty different from Twistworld. 😛 And I’ll accept that title, if you end up liking it. Otherwise, it was someone else’s fault!

Watching Penny Dreadful here because of Lorenza Izzo. Shes a fellow WLW and needs to support. I dont know if you also ever saw Casual were she was in a WLW relationship there as well.

 Oh, she is? I had no idea. Although I wasn’t really aware of who she was to begin with, I don’t think… Regardless, yay! And yeah, definitely will be paying attention to her too now. So that’s her AND Kerry Bishe now and obviously Natalie Dormer’s just hot af so. I will probably stick with the show unless it does something horrible.

ETA: I totally forgot to address the Casual part. Um, I’ve heard of it…in the sense that once I googled it, I was like, ohhhh, that, but no, I haven’t seen it or know much about it. I might watch her parts, heh.

Can we agree to wait until May 1rst yo decide if the movie is gonna be bad or now? It really bothers me a little how people jump to said is queer baiting and that is gonna be Bad and the movie is not even out yet

Okay, this I also really wish I’d answered earlier, since now we’re just a week away, but. On the other hand, nothing we say would have made a difference to people complaining. And I certainly wasn’t calling it bad or queerbaiting, which, I don’t even use that word anymore when it comes to f/f rep, canon OR subtext. I have a lot of thoughts about it, but ultimately, it’s just not very useful.

But yeah, of course, I do think people should be allowed to have complaints, but also, it’s just courtesy to not ruin it for others. Given how talented but also thoughtful Alice Wu tends to be, even if people have seen the script, the execution and end product do matter a lot. And ultimately, even if it is exactly what the script and trailer promise and disappoints people hoping for a more romcom execution, it’s unfair to sum up something’s objective quality based on subjective preferences.

But people are going to vent and rant on their blogs, you may just want to be careful about visiting the tags, or just try to ignore it. Surely the negative comments are the exception.

God this reminds me how much I loved Saving Face! I love mother-daughter relationships and especially one that is between an immigrant and first gen daughter (I think she was?). It’s so damn relatable. I’m gonna re-watch it ❤️

I…hope you did rewatch it! Two weeks ago! I should have answered this exuberant positive ask earlier, you were just behind the others and I felt I had to answer them first…

But yes! Saving Face! What a well done story on so many fronts. I hope you enjoyed it!
