It’s set in an alt reality that veers off around the time of the first moon landing, so it starts at around 1969, and then through time skips, they’ve arrived at 1974 in the latest ep, 1×06.
I hope Cara’s character is only meant as a friend and not a love interest!
For Harrison Ford’s character?? No way they’d do that.
oh m god they’re making call of the wild with an actual actress of native descent?! i love cara. did you watch the webseries she was in a few years ago?
I know! I saw her tweet about it and I was like, wait, what movie? By which company? With which costar?? Casually calling him “Harrison”, lol. Hitting the big times. ;_;
Do you mean Inhuman Condition? I haven’t, not yet!
Would you be able to get a HD picture of Jean sitting in the window from tell it to the bees? also thanks for taking the time to answer my message
From this scene?

I took a few caps and uploaded them here, since Tumblr resizes:

Oop I’m glad I read your posts that s2 is a soft reboot of Charmed. The second half was bad enough that I still haven’t watched the finale, so I’m glad I know not to bother. I hated Harry and Harry/Macy is gross to me so imma go ahead and skip the show now. Sad that the first half of s1 had so much potential and they just ruined it. On brand for a cw show tho so I’ll learn my lesson eventually lol. Or I guess I already have, that was the last cw show I was watching.
Sorry, you sent this about a month ago, but I just remembered it and wanted to respond because, buddy, so far, you have made the correct decision. I wouldn’t say it’s a CW thing necessarily, focusing too much on white guys isn’t only their issue, but maybe in hiring people who continue to prioritize them, that is something they could work on, they have more scope for allowing diversity than the big four.
This rebrand has centered Harry to such an extent, by screentime and plot, I would not be wrong in calling him the lead of season 2! For Charmed, for the Charmed reboot that was going to be about three WOC, to center on a white guy this much, not pleased.
Could you gif the scene Lydia get beat up from 10×04 of The Walking Dead?
Sorry, anon, I didn’t really care to watch that scene even the once, let alone enough times to gif it.

SPOILERS FOR DARK FATE: I think the flashforward with Dani looked iffy because they tried to make her tougher, harder, more like John Connor, while in the dam scenes at the end she was perfect commander material: authoritative but soft and scared at the same time. Anyways, I loved Dani and Natalia’s performance too, she held her own opposite the whole cast and her character was lovable from the get go. Also, as a 5’2’’ person, I love that she’s so tiny, but she can still kick ass.
Yeah, you know what, I think you’re on to something. Like they had to make her so visibly hardened and changed to reflect her status when that wasn’t necessary? Even at the end of the movie, her look there? Was fine! Was great, tbh. But I think it wasn’t even about what it represented in her so much as providing a dramatic difference to show time changing. I honestly think they should maybe not shown her much at all, except possibly a look at the injured commander Grace had been trying to save earlier. These movies never do well in these big reveals, John Connor has never satisfied. It’s a lot better keeping it all hazy in the future.
Dani was just like, so in control. Even from the start, when she went in to fight for her brother’s job, when you knew they were presenting her as a natural leader type, takes charge of situations, fights for the little guy, but she did it so reasonably and like, naturally. Like you knew this kid had already developed a reputation among her coworkers, aside from her brother knowing she’d pick up his slack.

Hey can I ask you something? I’m gonna watch terminator this weekend. I never expected it to be queer so I know I’m not gonna be that sad about that. I’m from Colombia and I want to know what do you think of Dani’s character and Natalia’s performance?
I thought she was great! There was one flashforward that I thought was a bit eh but not because of her, at all, because of the writing. She was super likable and relatable, and totally believable as somebody who deserved this level of protection. (Edit: and to not spoil you or anything, but obviously there’s more to her character than a random girl, otherwise a Terminator wouldn’t be after her, and the reveals are totally believable.)
She started at a big disadvantage with me personally, actually, because I’ve loved the first two movies for forever, so I already was going to be more connected to Sarah Connor and the Arniebot and then this is just a coincidence, but I’ve liked both Mackenzie Davis AND Gabriel Luna for years. Look at the dates on those gifsets! So this movie was a mix of a whole bunch of things I already liked and then…Natalia Reyes. But against that competition, she held her own! She did y’all proud. :>
Hailee said all ten eps
Oh, man. That’s a whole ton of TV to watch, presuming the other Apple TV shows drop their full seasons too.
Thanks!
