to the anon that said that people celebrated name days in Mexico… we don’t lol at least the majority of the population doesn’t and the circles in which Val moves definitely wouldn’t, it’s just that some people (mostly in small towns) still give their kids the name that’s marked on the calendar but it’s not really a thing anymore. it probably just seems weird to that anon that Val doesn’t know because well… it’s St. Valentines and everyone knows when that is lol
