Reading the Sleeping Warrior fic, and omigosh, it’s beautiful. 25K word AU where Maleficent cast the curse. The characters are different but recognizable and we see the Mulan-Phillip friendship as it must have been and how it would be in Storybrooke. So many recognizable elements from the show and the fairytales we know are woven around Mulan and Aurora, both before and after the curse. I love even with the importance given to True Love and destiny from the Western characters we know, Mulan’s backstory in Chin echoes throughout. Also, Mulan is wound up so tight for Aurora, when she breaks, it will be awesome. And hot. And cute.

I know this is gonna be of interest to exactly ZERO people, but I still need to wax poetic about last night’s Bunheads because it encapsulated exactly what makes this show so amazing and unique to me and why I love it SO FUCKING MUCH and will stan it until the day it dies. *knocks on all the wood within a km radius*
I JUST LOVE HOW THIS IS BASICALLY A SHOW ABOUT WOMEN OF ALL AGES WHO REALLY, HONESTLY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER AND WHO SPENT THE ENTIRE EPISODE EITHER MISSING EACH OTHER OR TAKING CARE OF EACH OTHER OR HUGGING EACH OTHER OR MAKING FUN OF EACH OTHER AND IT WAS LIKE, DUDES? WHAT DUDES? I CAN’T HEAR YOU OVER THE SOUND OF HOW MUCH I MISS/LOVE THIS REALLY AWESOME LADY IN MY LIFE.
I LOVED ALL THIS TOO. And can Talia just move in with the rest of them. I lovehow loyal she is to Michelle and that she actually explained to old hummus dude why she’s having such a crappy week (“they took away the bird”) and the Talia-Michelle-Truly circle was such an unexpectedly pleasing thing.
