Ugh, I don’t think I’ve raised my hopes and then had them dashed this quickly for a show. Where was the Stephan-Astrid? No resolution to Stephan telling Astrid about his powers? No Astrid atall? I’d been afraid after the first few eps (and y’know, every other TV show ever) that they’d sideline her and make it about Stephan and Cara, even with John and Astrid right there, but out of nowhere that last episode raised my expectations so much. And how it’s basically fulfilled my worst fears for it, especially if they’re going to give Astrid have an unrequited crush on him.
Also. Darcy. Wtf? What even was the point of that?
And then gross-ass Jedikiah apparently trading a powered woman (hi, Carly Pope!) her freedom for sex.
