I was the anon who messaged you earlier about some of the GoFundMes. I just thought you should know, both for your sake and others. I know its hard to tell that sort of stuff on the internet, but I would like money to get to people who actually need it and are legit. (Also, since you know this person/their cause I have donated some money to them, hope it helps.)

I get that, anon, and I didn’t take it at all badly, I considered your points and then decided my approach. Although it did end up mostly unchanged, because I’d need more evidence of specific posts being scams to not donate, I did get what you were saying and why. 

My hope is to do as much as I can, so I don’t really think, oh, since I’m donating to this person, I won’t donate to that person. I look at each on its own merits. In a way, being too careful might also keep money from those that need it too, right? And I didn’t mean to make that last post’s tag a dig at you, it was supposed to be a friendly, joking comment and I certainly didn’t want to pressure you to donate, you didn’t need to donate to like, validate your point or to be able to send this ask, but separately, on behalf of that person, I do appreciate it! No hard feelings, at least on my end, we just have slightly different approaches is all. 🙂

hi! i love your page cuz it keeps me updated on quality wlw (i’m filipino and ironically missed your jathea phase lol), you probably know about the rise of BL shows in asia. there is a cute filipino BL series called Gameboys rn and for mine/your’s/your followers’ interest, there’s gonna be a GL spin-off about the bi girl bff of the mains in Gameboys. they’re calling it Pearl Next Door. pearl’s awesome (and so pretty). i’m hyped! i thought i’d share for anyone who wants to show support ^___^

Oh, lol, to have missed Jathea. It was such an obsessed phase! 

I actually didn’t know, until a person I follow started going through them and posting and I was like, oh. Honestly, I was pretty impressed, but also kind of waiting for the f/f, lol. So yes, for our interest is Pearl Next Door, you say? Hmmmm, interesting. Definitely gonna keep an eye on that channel!

Since you’re all caught up on skam fr! I must say lucky you, you didn’t have to watch the show live cuz the whole *spoilers ahead* trying to find where Lola went was SO SO stressful to follow omg ? I saw a post here that said “waiting for 3 fictional characters to find another one like it’s happening in real life” is so funny to me. But that’s part of the charm of skam I guess…

Oh, sorry, no, I was speaking in the abstract, just, that it’s nice in general when shows highlight other things as well. 

And yeah, I couldn’t imagine following all this live, I think that was partly why I also didn’t want to catch up before the season finished, that’s just too much stress. But definitely part of its charm, if you’re into it! it raises the amount of suspense and investment so if you do get the payoff, it’s all the sweeter.

Lol, most likely they didn’t. But they’re probably also happy that people pay that much attention and expect them to stay for the ride, even if you know little details you still need the full picture, right, the how, not just the what. And after all, the full season dropped at once, if you REALLY wanted to know, you could just watch the last eps first.

So sorry or not to that anon that got that obsessed with skam france bc of us haha what I actually love about it is that it’s not exactly centered on mayla. I mean sure it is and it’s a big part of Lola’s story but a lot of other thing are super interesting to watch too like her relationship with her sister which is really for me the center of the this season and well you also really fall in love with Lola…(and Maya lbr) The show can get a bit messy tho but still is really really good!

Right, right, these shows tell a well-rounded story, which I like too, even as–or especially as a shipper, because, as I’ve said, when it’s done well, all the other parts of a story only enhance the ship.

Lol to that anon that got caught in skam fr same anon same… Mayla kisses and scenes are literally god tier idk if it’s because they’re french or something but they definitely lingered more on the kisses than any other shows in any other countries would I know i’m exaggerating but like am I? Hispanic shows are pretty good in that department too. And the cinematography is so so pretty.

It is stunning, for sure, it’s made to look gooood.

Is the show with luimelia done?

I think both shows are still ongoing, the original soap as well as their spinoff, but I guess the spinoff is on hiatus between seasons? I’m not very current on what all’s going on with it.
