I really think Teenage Bounty Hunters just loves its own characters way most shows would never love people like that. Most TV with a liberal mindset seems to have no respect at all for classic red state values and always needs to disclaim the values before showing the holders as good people. I legit think that the Wesleys might be the emotionally healthiest TV family I have ever seen. (Blanket publishing permission disclaimer for this as I found you in public searching.)

Hmm, I’m not sure I entirely get what you mean by classic red state values, but I do think the show did disclaim and at times gently and affectionately mock the characters? And I feel like most shows in general do love their characters? Suddenly on the spot I can hardly think of any at all, but for example, as harsh a look at that world as it was, Justified really examined the circumstances that created its characters and seemed to have this understanding and sympathy for them. Or, actually, another southern Christian series, Greenleaf, that show loved those characters! …Ambitions loved its characters less, lol. D:

Hmm, emotionally healthy… I mean, I don’t think they’re unhealthy, but I think as a TV rule, they’re about as healthy as most fictional families where the conflict isn’t about how unhealthy they are? But they are pretty solid and I want to see how they deal with this upcoming drama from all these secrets.

According to the movie they said that exactly yesterday they both spoke with Bardasano, the idea is there, and theyre committed on making it happen, I believe they are going to be involved in the writing of the story (they kinda wanted to say that but they started whispering and talking in code lol) but they don’t want to give dates or anything cause that would be giving false hope, and right now things have been difficult with covid, but Maca was like Yes guys, write to them! Lol

Okay, it’s understandable that covid’s delayed things, but what, the script’s still not final? What are they doing with it…I mean, I guess on the one hand I’m happy they’re being careful with it, certain plot points are definitely potential firestorms but it’s been a while. Hm. Anyway, thanks for the info!

Maca showed Bárbara the questions and she said she wanted to answer the one about the sexuality, she pointed to it and was like: Yes, that one, I want to answer that one. And proceed to explain that a while ago she said that considering her age and experience she was straight, but now that really doesn’t make sense with her, that she feels that if it happens then it happens, she said in a very nonchalant way. It was, may I say, insightful? Yeah

They were also asked about the movie, and they said they really really want it to happen, I even remember a few months ago that they spoke about it too, and that they will make it happen, even if it means that they have to make it themselves, like really getting involved. They are committed, that’s for sure. Ps: different anon here! I also sent you the previous about the sexuality question.

Oh, so she chose to answer that one and now…hmm. Does sound super insightful! It’s kind of interesting how for people even now, it’s not until they’re acting (or writing) an LGBT role and it makes them learn and think more and reconsider some things.

Is the movie in doubt or like, were they just reaffirming their commitment to it?

Barbarena live, thought it’d mention some things they talked about: 1. They’re both slytherins lol 2. They have a surprise they’ll reveal Sept 14 3. Someone asked who they thought was a better teacher, val with swimming or juls with dancing. Barbs said val with swimming bc they got a kiss out of it lol then they rambled about wether the dance scene came before the kiss, And maca said that it def came before the kiss otherwise the dance scene would’ve ended differently.

Cont. someone asked if they ever saw themselves dating someone of the same sex. Barb said that before she would have answered differently, but that now she says, if it happens it happens. Then of course maca mentioned not liking labels (but also understanding why people like to label themselves) and that she just wants to love who she loves, and that who she has sex with is her choice. Im still watching the live rn lol

Not sure if you know this show, Trinkets. Brianna Hildebrand’s character, Elodie, likes girls and has love interests in S1 and 2 (just released on Netflix) S2’s love interest was pretty interesting and I hope you’ll be giffing it :) (Can’t find people talking about the show on this site and S2 was their last season)

I do know it! I just wasn’t suuuuper into the first season so I haven’t actually even given the second a chance yet. But you say the love interest is interesting? Hmm, all right, I’ll look into that. I found the first season’s f/f pretty off-putting, tbh, but I’m guessing it’s a new one this time. Hopefully I can find some stuff to gif!

So in searching for stuff to watch, I ended up binging Dollface. Looking through the tumblr tags for it afterwards, I saw you had made a few gifsets from it. But heh, yeah, I liked all the actresses even beyond the main 4 too and was also very disappointed in how incredibly straight the show ended up being. Like are you kidding me with the last ep and Madison’s realization in the desert and the two of them constantly getting disappointed by the men in their life, and just.. nothing?

Riiiight? Like, nothing at ALL? But especially Madison and Jules, setting up this great arc and then not going there? Whyyyyyy?

They really still got it.. I mean if the trending is any indication… And their chemestry is still off the chart! I missed them!

Yep, they do! And it is! And saaame. I sometimes forget and then see something or the theme plays on random and I’m like, yeah. I think we’ll always associate them with the good times of January to March 2019 in particular and the experience’ll always be highlighted for that.

I got worried that they hadn’t saved this live, but phew, they did. I still haven’t watched it fully and only caught the tail end of it earlier, mostly which I didn’t understand anyway, of course, but what all did they talk about regarding the future projects, does anyone know? Did they talk about them at all?
