hey, do you know where i could watch the second season of burden of truth? they have the later episodes on the cwtv website, but i’ve only been able to find the firsts few episode of season 2 on cbc website and i’m not in canada :/ do you have any suggestions?

Yeahhhh, not really a Molly season, was it. I don’t consider her ruined, Luna was pretty clear about what she wanted.
Of course, Molly could have stayed in town and shown up at the trial even if she was blocked visitor access, that’s something the writers decided to not go with. I guess they wanted to continue their drifting apart storyline, which was there from the start, we just thought it was going to be temporary and something they’d work through. Molly tried to be supportive but she’d had such a rough time of it before and seemed to want to catch up on all the fun she’d missed out on.
Tbh, they’d foreshadowed it from the very start:
I don’t know if the ending implied they’ll come back together after this, having grown separately, or if that’s the end of that, but I wouldn’t rule out a reunion in s3.
That scene between Luna and Molly broke my heart! I’m literally crying!!!! She kept saying “baby don’t, baby” :'( :'( :'( and all joanna and luna’s scenes????? Were fucking amazing! jesus they are gonna kill me
It was so emotional! And I get it, I get where Luna’s coming from, ironically the same place as Juliana in Amar a Muerte, but in the same way, it’s totally not their decision to make.
It’s still a little bewildering to me that they glossed over why Molly seemed to be absent in their relationship lately. Of course we’re past that now but it seemed rather pointed that Molly wasn’t even picking up the call Luna placed from jail. I have a bit of a theory that I hope is totally wrong and really has no actual backing, except for how TV writers like to go for the most unexpected killer, but…what if Molly killed David? That’s why she didn’t pick up the call, that’s why she was crying when she realized Luna’d been picked up for it and why she was so sure Luna hadn’t done it?
I really, really love Joanna being so much on Luna’s side. I was afraid her doubt would be one of the bigger plot points for this arc, and it might still come up later, but at the moment, Joanna would do anything for her, probably the only person in the world with that status.
Hey idk if you’re still on BoT but on the new season, why do you think Molly’s been acting so wild always parting and not picking up Luna’s phone when she was away? Do you think they’ll go into it this season?
I think they’ll definitely get into it, they have to, don’t they? This was the thing that was going to either drive them apart or bring them closer together (or both) and well, Molly headed over immediately once she heard the message. So that’s not terrible. I think they’ll probably fight and bicker some more, and it’ll come out that maybe Molly’s just wanted to relax and not confront reality or anything, after the unfairness of getting sick the way she did?
I truly think Luna didn’t do it but I think proving her innocence is gonna be one of the main plots from this season. I only hope Joanna believes her and Molly is there for her…poor Luna she deserves the world and Molly too, they have suffered too much btw is Molluna their ship name? I thought they didn’t have one.

The good thing about answering this so late is that I was able to get to the next episode. I believe her! She didn’t do it. This was one of our theories, right, that she’d left and then somebody else came in. It’d have to be that, once we saw it wasn’t self-defense.
Man, there was this one moment when Joanna thought Gerrilyn had done it and forced her way in to see and my hackles went up, she’s really going to break the law to go confront her dad’s victim? But yeah, phew, she settled down and I think…well, at first blush, she immediately went into protective sister/lawyer mode, but I think she’ll have doubts. She and Molly (who immediately threw a bag together to go to her girl ^_^) will probably waver through the season. Gerrilyn either never will or will be like, whatever, he deserved it, get my daughter out!
Speaking about Molluna. Omg thank you anon for mentioning their name. And damn i ship them REAL HARD, i don’t want them to break up but i think they’re not on a same page this season ??? i bet Luna didn’t kill her dad cause she’s too smart to do that kind of things. I just hope they won’t break my baby’s heart in this season
I mean, it’s already broken. She’s in such a terrible place. But maybe this is her rock bottom and now she’ll get back up?
I do think that they’ll go on a break, maaaybe, or maybe fight a bit more, but they should end strong. It’s just that kind of show, right? The David stuff was telegraphed pretty clearly from the start of the season, and the rest of the writing just makes it seem like they’re in a bad place because of Luna’s seething anger at the world and current inability to compartmentalize, possibly brought on by being a bit depressed? She could probably benefit from therapy, anyway. But this obviously changes things and I don’t know what she’ll do.
Thinking more on it, I feel like, unless they write her a bit OOC to fit the plot, she would ‘fess up to it immediately if it was her. Right? Practically be proud of it. I dunno, I guess we’ll seeee.
Not Juliantina related (that doesn’t mean i don’t love them, because I doooooooo!!!) but I’ve been watching Burden of truth for a few days and now that I’m all catched up, I need to talk about Luna and Molly!!!!! I adore them!!!!! although i’m a bit scared/sad because of how their relationship is going in season 2…I miss the old prom days :(
Omgggg. Omg. DIDN”T I CALL THIS? DIDN’T I SAY THIS WOULD HAPPEN. And now…we wait. It’s probably not her, right, because they cut the scene? Or is that a double bluff so we’ll think maybe she didn’t do it and then will discover it was self-defense. Or murder? Maybe it was actual murder but everyone will basically doctor it to look like self-defense and then in the last shot of the season we’ll see what happened and it was straight up murder.
But yeah, also, it really does seem like it’s Luna putting distance between her and Molly. It sucks, but now we’ll see the real plot of the season and how it affects them. D:
