Yes, I did see some of that! They were VERY cute, I really liked them for the first chunk of the series, when they were both the solid comfortable couple offering advice and stuff, but also going through their little transitions, like that first ILY. And she definitely added a lot of charm to that relationship. Was pretty disappointed with how it all ended up.
I thought Barbara’s new project was a movie, but just saw the trailer and realized it’s a series! Ayyyy more Barbara! I’m excited lol, even if I have to wait til Friday for it to drop.

I tried it, anon, but it didn’t entirely seem my thing. I did definitely notice the subtext and I saw the gifs of what you’re talking about and they are pretttty appealing, almost enough to make me try again, but I kind of want to see how the season finishes first.

But you’re right, you’re absolutely right, and I do sometimes go to a friend to vent and discuss this very thing, but ultimately just a bit of waiting and perspective are enough. And for me, this is a collaborative, sharing kind of experience, so without that, what’s the point, right?

I am loving the Ashley-Caro story from Nurses. I am in the US so I can’t watch the show legally yet ;). Aside from Caro, I really like Ashley so naturally I had to look up the actress Natasha Calis, did you know she is only 20? TWENTY! I don’t know how old Ashley is supposed to be but I pegged both the character and actress at at least 23/24 years old. Natasha just plays Ashley so well making her badass and vulnerable at the same time. With season 2, I really hope they bring it to the US.
I would never have guessed she was 20! She’s definitely successfully pulling off someone in her mid-twenties. And exactly as you said, she’s a great combination of badass and vulnerable, I expect big things for her.
