They were the best parts, but the rest of the show is really kicking into high gear too. I love that Eva’s like, what, so the driver’s part of the family reunion too? She’s so not going to take it well, she never bonded with him the way Guille and especially Val did. Which, I have to believe that all this happened so that Val can most easily believe him.

Okay Val’s heart eyes are incomparable. But can we also talk about Juls’ face before that hug? That smitten look in her eyes, drinking in the the sight of Val being so close to her again, and blinking like she’s holding back tears because she thought Val would never want to see her again. God, my heart.
I kind of wish we’d gotten the front angle because it looked like another “Juls can’t resist emotional Val” moment, but obviously getting both in frame here was was necessary and very effective.
We’re so lucky to have two actresses capable of pulling this off.
