Yeah, it was pretty perfect for her character, really effortless and understatedly expensive, a lot of flowing outfits. Although I think I liked it best when she dressed down at home, heh. Or the leather jacket! That was a good time…

I only watch the show and don’t really follow them or any celebrity news but I love that whenever I see Danielle Stefania gifs/clips on here about Marina they’re so enthusiastic. Obviously it’s a job and they don’t have to do any of the extra but it’s nice that especially playing LGBT characters they also like and care about what they’re portraying. Idk of this makes sense but I’ve seen straight actresses get homophobic/weird and it’s like well why’d you take the role in the first place??
Yeah, it feels like it’s getting a lot better on average, for a lot of reasons, but these two are among the especially supportive and enthusiastic (although another pair of the best actresses at handling this, Lucy Lawless and ROC, were also from an earlier era). They’re from a big enough show where they don’t really don’t need to do this but have been giving content for a whole summer and seem to be continuing that.
And I absolutely do love and praise actresses every time they’re so open in embracing these ships and fandoms especially because, as you said, it could be so awkward and, well, insulting before. Some people act like it’s pandering or bad for some other so and so reason and it’s like, unless they’re completely insincere about it, what’s the problem? It’s a win-win for everyone.

Oh, god, yes, don’t even put that into the universe. I don’t wanna see any pregnancy for at least a few more years. Otherwise…well, already did cheating, so hopefully no MORE of that. And obviously no death! Also please nobody get the bright idea to make Maya abusive to show that hurt people hurt or whatever.
But yeah, like you said, who knows. I just wanna be able to continue to ship them, so anything that doesn’t destroy that, I’m fine with.
everyone in shondaland is badly written lol majority of the main characters have all done shitty things just like they’ve also done good things. also we all know that the list of characters who haven’t cheated is shorter than the list of characters who have.
Right, that is the impression I get. Especially about the second part, lol, for real. I try not to judge too hard, or at least not make my dislike about anything deeper than my own personal feelings. Everyone’ll get their turn sooner or later, you just hope they won’t do anything TOO bad or die.

Aw, thank you! I actually have this one KE answer I still need to ask that really made me think on how I can react negatively to media for a variety of reasons, one of those being simply that it might not have been what I wanted. Which, that’s no reason to mark it as Bad.
I mean, if one wanted, they could still call out things they both did in a problematic sense, but that’d be every single thing in the world. There’s a whole spectrum, right, how bad it is, who it bothers, why it does. All I see is many wlw loving them, so why harsh on that. 😮

Oh, not mostly superheros, I don’t even know most of them, I just remembered that I do actually love CW’s Westallen and that reminded me of the other very good superhero men I liked, and their ships. More and more, I have to really like the guy and he has to be completely besotted with the woman and then I’m in.
For those ships, I didn’t really watch OTH, and I liked Caskett at the start but less so over time, partly because of Castle/Nathan Fillion, but that was also coinciding with my shifting to f/f so it’s just how it was. Ah, hmm, no, not really that into Luke/Lorelai either, I don’t hate them, I just didn’t really care much for any of Lorelai’s romances.
So I started watching Filthy Rich because of your gifs but the story is actually pretty outrageous and funny at the same time Im staying regardless. Im glad I can expirience how bad/good this is. Im kind of sad its cancelled because i feel like this will be ending on a cliffhanger for sure.
Haha, bad/good, yeah, it is very deliberately this over the top soapy telenovela kinda show, so I can’t judge it too much for what it wants to be. But exactly, that’s my big fear, you can see very easily who the various couples should be, which means of course that they’ll make sure there are huge obstacles for them specifically, none of them happy and together till the show’s end so that’s definitely not this first season finale, where things will only get messier.
You reminded me of how hot Maya is with the work out gifset, even though she is so badly written Carina deserves so much better.
She is super hot! And the new hair…. And yeah, she can be written in a certain way, but as I was just saying in the previous reply, people are just written all over the place. With enough screentime, Carina’ll probably like, I dunno, kill someone or try to steal an election or whatever, something that makes Maya suddenly appear like the “good” one. And then it’ll switch and then again.
