So you’re kind of the juliantina queen and I feel like you’ll have a good answer. So when do you think was the exact moment each of them realized they liked each other as more than a friend?

Hah, am I though? </Thor> This is all mostly for the mere coincidence of me getting into the ship a fortnight before the migration.

And actually I don’t have a good answer, lol. It’s hard for me to say, the transitions between each stage of their relationship have been so seamless. But if the question is when they realized vs when they started liking each other, I think maybe it’s a little clearer? For example, Val watching Juls dancing was pretty significant, right, that was clearly a Moment, but I don’t think she really got it till later, the morning after Guille’s party. The thoughtfulness with which she was considering the previous night’s events (in a flashback, no less) seemed to imply some kind of realization and perhaps an explanation for some of her previous reactions and behavior. The girl had to tell Juls three separate times how good she looked in that dress.

Juls is harder, she’s deliberately so much more guarded about everything. I think by the time Guille’s party happened, she already knew. She wasn’t surprised where the feeling game was heading and her flashback the next morning seemed to inspire elation, her realization was that this was mutual. Both basically understood Val’s feelings after that night, lol. 

When did Juls realize herself? Ahhhh. I dunno. It could have been as early as when they were exchanging gifts that first time, if not earlier. It always stood out to me that the second time she came over, she was wearing lipstick. While visiting a friend whose stepmom had just been kidnapped. I mean……..

But I’m not married to any of these guesses, anybody could convince me otherwise pretty easily.

Isnt it funny how no one can agree on how many past boyfriends Valentina had? And that theg all use them as a excuse to say she cant like girls? They all say a different number when in reality its been two? One who was her outlet (charles) and Lucho? Who is super violent and she barely liked?

I haven’t seen any of this discourse, lol, but yeah, even if she had many more boyfriends than that, it still doesn’t rule anything out. I think it’s more people kind of just want to claim her for their own but since it’s not really–wait, I thought you meant as an excuse for why she doesn’t like only girls. As in, is she bi or lesbian? And I was gonna say, well, as long as it’s not defined in canon and people are respectful of each other, whatever. but I think the only thing we do know is that she definitely likes girls.

I have no doubt that Juliantina is endgame. Buuuuut I have such a bad feeling in my gut that one of them is going to die, get resurrected and then they’ll find each other again. In that soul-mate kinda way. But also fuck that ish.

I getcha, I really do. Especially in light of the very recent Corrie news, when you could not have thought there was a safer character. 

But there’s no point in focusing on it. You’ve thought it, you’ve put it out there, and I can tell you that others have thought it too, you’re not alone, which I find sometimes helps to know. But it’s your enjoyment you’re gonna ruin by dwelling on it. I can’t really tell you how to balance things, how much distance to keep yourself safe and how much to throw yourself into it all to enjoy everything, I’ll just say that personally, while keeping in mind things could go wrong, I’m going to enjoy it as much as I can.
