I always wonder about the first kiss then cut to awkward scene next. Like did they say anything to each other? Did one of them stop the kiss? Did Juls pull away because she remembered Val was in a relationship and shouldn’t be kissing other people? Or because they’re both girls? During the kiss they both seem into it, and right after it seems like a mistake. But then Val keeps daydreaming about it? I need to know what happened, lol.

Eggg ZACTLY! Who pulled back first? Did anyone try to say anything? Was there awkward laughter? Avoiding eye contact? How did they get out of the pool, who followed whom? Did Val lead Juls over to sit down in the awkward positions we then found them in? 

It’s definitely one of those moments where it’d be so difficult to write it to get from one spot to where they needed them next that they just skipped it, lol. Like, you can’t imagine they wouldn’t have found a way to break the tension in the journey from the pool to the seats. I cannot imagine there wasn’t some laughter or an apology or something, with these two. If there hadn’t been, what a horribly excruciating journey it would have been. No wonder Juls ran away, lol.

yeah that’s a good point, is it better to have lots of eras or just a few? -‘Meeting and getting to know each other’ (yes) -‘Guille’s party’ (yes) -‘lupe’s kidnapping’ (and yeah you’re right it should be an era of its own) -‘hospital’ -‘(Tentatively) getting together’ (start’s with the second kiss and I think it should go up until they split apart in Xochimilco/Chivi’s house and before Val gets to talk to Eva?) 1/3

-‘getting outed/breaking up’ (everything Val and Eva, getting outed, breaking up, Val first and only hostage situation and Lucia’s third? poor Lucia 🙁 lol) -‘Separated but still together’ (after the hostage situation up until Lupe finds out) -‘Juls kidnapping and rescue’ (everything pre kidnapping and post) -‘Getting together till the end’. you should come up with better names because I tried and as you can see, I failed 🙁 2/3

I don’t think that’s too many? I think every era had good scenes I’ve made my peace with the scenes I didn’t particularly like I mean it’s been a few weeks and I’m trying to look at them from a different perspective. 3/3 

So this is your listing of the eras.

  1. Meeting and getting to know each other 
  2. Guille’s party
  3. Lupe’s kidnapping
  4. Hospital
  5. (Tentatively) getting together (starts with the second kiss and I think it should go up until they split apart in Xochimilco/Chivi’s house and before Val gets to talk to Eva?)
  6. Getting outed/breaking up (everything Val and Eva, getting outed, breaking up, Val first and only hostage situation and Lucia’s third? poor Lucia)

So almost the same as mine except moving some events over from 6 to 5. I think doing that makes 5 less fun, lol, even easier to pick hospital as the best era. 

I felt like 9 eras might have been too many, considering it’d make it about 9 eps each, a bit short. More like chapter, lol. But they are very defined chapters, right, so whatever, it’s cool. They got so much screentime in each, it’s fair.

And don’t make your peace with the bits you didn’t like! Chapters 8 and 9 were sub par! They had great moments but it’s to the credit of the first 7 that they’d set the standard so high that they just didn’t meet it. But at least we weren’t like, wtf just happened, were those really the same people who wrote the first part? Like in some other cases.

Omg, I skimmed through this and…this is not what I was expecting at all.

All right, first up, Maca’s a flight attendant, sure.

Very pretty, very cute. So far, so good.

Oh, wow, this is more than I expected to see but this is a show about a flight crew being pretty, right, this is probably what to expect.

W–wait, she gets kidnapped here too?

So this telenovela I thought was going to be about a woman going through various obstacles to become a pilot against the backdrop of a bunch of soapy shenanigans between the flight crew is actually about drug smuggling? And it has Beltran and Johny’s actors too, sometimes sharing scenes with Maca! Wow.

Lol, the Val jumped out.

in my modest opinion before making a ranking, the eras should be well defined, to avoid confusion lol… but I would rank hospital era as the second best. for me, the first meeting/park dates/swimming lessons would definitely rank first, and Lupita’s kidnapping/hospital era would be second.

Anon, you’re so right. But, but, you would put Lupita’s kidnapping in hospital era? It had the kiss! It should be separate. 

Okay, I have these:

  • Meeting and getting to know each other, until the fight
  • Guille’s party
  • Lupe’s kidnapping
  • Hospital
  • Tentatively getting together, the kiss in the car, the talk in the cafe, breaking up with Lucho, sex
  • Getting outed left and right, breaking up, Val’s hostage situation
  • Separated but then still hanging out together, investigating the Jacobo thing, Lupe finding out
  • The Sergio thing and Juls’s kidnapping and rescue
  • Getting together till the end

Is that too many? Maybe Lupe’s kidnapping should be merged with the hospital…

Guille’s party was so good too…and after the hospital…honestly, every goddamn era until the last two was amazing. And even the last one had don’t provoke me.
