low key i’ve been downloading all the eps and posting them to youtube. might spend the time translating them cause i’m bored. i know everyone is kinda over the show itself but i still want it around an accessible if even just for me

umm did univision get rid of the full episodes?? do you know how else i can watch them (besides that one site with the horrible subs)?

I’m out, but I was looking through tumblr and told my mum and I came across Juls and Vals. Her response? Oh those girls are beautiful! When are their boyfriends’ coming? (so much to learn). I laughed and changed the subject.

Please excuse me if thought you were the one who thought Juls and vale were straight. Must have been someone else. Their gaydar must be working wrong as I started (almost ) from the beginning aswell, and let me tell you: nothing they did was straight. I get cultural context, but my gaydar is finely tuned and those girls were gay for each other from the start :)
No worries, buddy. I have no actual gaydar so I just go with the story. Or assuming/hoping everyone is not straight, that works too. 😛
I started watching the full show and honestly! the tension between Lucia and Eva! is wild! ??? so distracting hah
Yes! And this isn’t even a case where we’ll ship literally any two women in a frame. They took these two women of a similar age and power and gave them a specific dynamic around a person.
But then reinforced the strength of that particular dynamic even outside of that person.
And then took that person away. So we ended up getting so many scenes where these two women, played by really talented, gorgeous actresses, just kept on sparking off each other.
And it’s such a specific kind of back and forth, where the plot relies on their enmity and feeds on it. The moment they see or even hear each other, you can feel the hackles going up. The energy in the room changes.
I will say, though, that I wish they’d made up before the end. If there’s a season 2, I can’t see what it would be if not about Lucia’s transmigration, and then while she and Leon will be a major thing, her making up with Eva would be the natural step for both.
