Tbh, yeah, as long as there’s a solid amount of plot-based angst, you would hope that would save them from sudden, extreme drama-injecting twists. It’s crazy that they’re managing to repeatedly shock us by doing the most straightforward thing.
I don’t really see how winning Juls back will happen if she’s in Costa Rica? There’s just so much plot that needs to happen here. The cartel people coming to take care of Chino need to be handled in some way first and then the reveals have to start.
Lupe and Juls need to find out Jacobo isn’t Chino and Beltran is, Beltran’s family needs to find out his stuff, the Carvajals need to find out Jacobo is Leon and also that Lucia is super shady and Eva is having an affair with Alacran and then probably Lucia will get some kind of redemption and maybe Jacobo and Johnny and a few others will die. That’s a lot of plot to also stuff in a move to Costa Rica and all the peripheral stuff with Mateo and Panchito and Sergio and Renata’s hanger-on and Mayela.
And another anon:
Bruh this telenovela’s got me second guessing everything. On one hand I think Juls is going to lie to Val cause Drama, on the other hand I think Juls is gonna tell her everything Lupita and Jacobo have been trying to convince her of and then they’ll try to figure shit out together. But they just keep throwing curve balls at us wtf i don’t even know anymore
I’m not even guessing anymore, what happens will happen. “Oh, Juls would never go to the house.” “I don’t know if Mateo will tell Val, she might never find out Juls was outside.” “They won’t talk again soon because the revelations about their fathers need to be kept for later.” I’m out of the guessing game!
And another anon:
Im highkey ready to throw some god damn hands if they keep making valentina cry for another goddamn week yall!!
Sometimes it almost feels like Juliantina are in a different soap from everyone else, they’re being treated so much more rationally and naturally and realistically. Val is clearly suffering from her experience, meanwhile Lucia’s on her fifth kidnapping of the month and so nonchalant about it. I don’t think it’s going to get any easier for our girl, all these experiences would have happened just a day or two ago for her by the time we roll into next week. And, well, some really tough reveals and events are ahead for her.
