It is interesting, her interfering like this. Of course she’s appeared around the bodyswitched people a lot, but the two normal people she’s hung around a lot are Camilo and Barbara, who know all about this already. I’m not sure why she’s so invested in Val. Literal death has seemed to follow her around lately, but what’s that mean exactly?
Is it too crazy to think it has something to do with Juliantina?
i loved people freaking out for weeks about a muerte showing up in Vals room and people thinking she was gonna get hurt but it was all about Val approaching the truth by finding the witch lady on google
Lmao, that was pretty great. I’m pretty relieved it didn’t turn out that way, though it seemed like it might turn out to be like this once Lucho died and then the fact that Sergio was there too made a lot more sense.

Her hair looked great this ep, actually, I can’t lie. I was noticing how pretty she looked from the start. So happy at this new little apartment that’s just theirs. I dunno what that weirdass sequence with Chino was, but she actually looked a little…scared(?) when she woke up? So that was interesting.
What I loved about this ep, Juls finally smiling in almost all of her scenes and we also saw her being hopeful looking into the clothes shop window. What I hated about this ep, Val has forgiven Sergio just as easily as she forgave Lucho yet she needs space from Juls who’s the only person who hasn’t physically assaulted her or talked shit behind her back, also Val didn’t show even show the slightest bit of concern when Chivis said she kicked Juls out and Val knows the narcos are after her family.
I don’t think she needs space from Juls anymore, I think she forgave her as quickly as she did the guys. She was off banging at her door. It’s just that unlike those guys who keep inflicting themselves on her and never respecting what she wanted, Juls actually listens. The irony of Juls sending Chivis flowers when, if it’d been Lucho and Val had asked for space, he’d be sauntering up with another apology bouquet and badgering her till she forgave him.
She’s still the super lonely, grieving girl she was before, and in the absence of Juls, she’s now just switched her need for companionship from Lucho to Sergio. Or, well, the writers have, we can’t ignore the fact that this is now a bit of forced conflict to keep them apart for some extra drama. Even if Juls wants to give Val space (in her adorable, earnest way, lol), there’s no reason for Val not to call her.
Same with her just kind of…ignoring that Chivis supposedly kicked the Valdeses out? This might have been why the kind of random line in their earlier needing space convo, where she asked if Juls was going to leave. She may think it’s more to do with that, as well. I don’t know, it is a bit contrived but it is what it is. They did spend a good portion of their screentime today thinking about the other, I liked that.
