So I was doing a rewatch of freelin scenes (as you do) and I’m pretty sure the music cue in the proposal scene is a callback to the ring/spell scene last season – thoughts? Also thank you thank you thank you for all the Pose content!

what do you think would’ve happened to rana if her parents had succeeded in sending her away??
It really does depend on what their intentions were. If they want to keep her locked up, there’s no escaping that. In Pakistan or anywhere else. If they took her to an urban area, that’d be like a city anywhere else, she’d have been able to flag down a taxi or rickshaw or simply ask to borrow someone’s phone while out shopping and eventually make contact with a consulate (and/or Kate).
It might be different if they took her out to a rural area, it’s difficult to get there or get away from there on any public transport and it wouldn’t be so easy to find a phone or internet with which to contact somebody.
I doubt they’d have tried to physically hold her prisoner, though, I think they would have tried to work on her mentally, guilt and lecture her into changing. I don’t think they’d have outed her, that would have brought shame on them too, aside from the physical danger it could have put her in.

Hey, anon. I’ve been…trying. I’m realizing that when Nas isn’t the center, I don’t care that much about it. Kaneez is brilliant, so is her actress, and I’m glad she’s getting more time, but frankly, I find the second wife plot kind of boring. Especially when it’s pushing Aaron into everything. And on the school side, no Nas means Alya’s is the loudest Muslim girl voice.
I don’t just want more Nas because of the gay stuff, I legit would be fine with a season of her and Missy just futzing around. She’s just more fun to watch and at least her melodrama feels more real to me.

Do I think she would have been okay? I think she’d have lived. 😛
But for real, I think she’d have been fine with the relationship too. As she said later, it was more about communicating where they were with each other. I think initially it might have played into her insecurities given how things started but as long as they talked it out, she’d have been okay.
