I just want to give a shout out to Leonardo Padron, the writer of AAM, for this incredible story. It’s a little crazy it’s not even a team of writers, just him and he’s done a great job

It’s been really great and I hope some of this current praise makes its way to him. The writing has been so, so good, in so many dimensions. It’s natural, it’s realistic, it’s as wholesome as an introductory gay couple needs to be, it doesn’t neuter their romantic attraction, it’s as educational and relateable as an introductory couple has to be, and to have all that together! While putting them in the center of this plot and never having them serve it but it serving them. 

Leonardo Padron, huh. That’s a name to remember.

You know I could hear my own mother’s words out from Lupe’s mouth. Latin America still is pretty religious and conservative overall and when they show this kind of scene in the most popular PUBLIC channel of Mexico that’s what makes a difference. I was watching the telenovela with my mom today and I saw tears in her eyes and for the first time since i came out months ago she actually looked at me and she held my hand. I’m still trying to understand this but juliantina literally are everything.

Oh, anon. It does, this stuff truly does make a difference. I’m so happy for you :’). And i’m really grateful, again and again, for the treatment these two have gotten.

We have Renata and I’m sure Lucia will take it well

Lucia’s going to take it exactly the opposite of Eva on principle, lmao. Although, although, on a deeper level, she probably understands Juls the most. There’s a reason Lucia/Leon are often paralleled against Juls/Val. They’re both from difficult childhoods and have fought to overcome the external stigma and their own issues that come from it. And they’re in love with incredibly romantic Carvajals.

Renata owns a cat, I mean, we knew she’d be fine with it.

Hey idk if you’re still on BoT but on the new season, why do you think Molly’s been acting so wild always parting and not picking up Luna’s phone when she was away? Do you think they’ll go into it this season?

I think they’ll definitely get into it, they have to, don’t they? This was the thing that was going to either drive them apart or bring them closer together (or both) and well, Molly headed over immediately once she heard the message. So that’s not terrible. I think they’ll probably fight and bicker some more, and it’ll come out that maybe Molly’s just wanted to relax and not confront reality or anything, after the unfairness of getting sick the way she did?

Not to sound ungrateful but our girlies out there are already solving the mystery inch by inch and we only got 6 minutes of them being together? In one episode? Why? But like them sitting together heart eyes and all that is enough for me tho lmao

Actually, 6 minutes is more than I thought it was. It seemed less than usual but we did have major drama going on with their fathers finally meeting and revealing who they are. If there was a list of things that needed to happen on the show, we’ve knocked off Val knowing that Jacobo is Juls’s father, Juls knowing, and the fathers meeting. They’ll probably talk things out some more? I mean, this is the meaty part of it, they have to drag it, no? And the girls can’t discover it all just yet.

Though I loved that they spent a good minute of the girls’ detective time on just the hearteyes. Even when they’re not together together and they don’t get much screentime, we’re still getting such good moments with them.

Hey! Hope you’re having a good day and I don’t really want to treat you as a knowledge base, but I showed this to a friend of mine and she (very much into the show now) asked me why Val and Guille don’t have any money and I… don’t actually know? Do you know why Eva seems to have all of it? I really thought the money was supposed to be split evenly amongst them, but then suddenly, Guille has no money for tires afte rmoving out?

Aw, thank you, and don’t worry about it.

I think that was actually Guille’s choice, to be all independent and make his own way. Val still has her money. That’s why she offered to buy him tires, lol.
