That scene between Luna and Molly broke my heart! I’m literally crying!!!! She kept saying “baby don’t, baby” :'( :'( :'( and all joanna and luna’s scenes????? Were fucking amazing! jesus they are gonna kill me

It was so emotional! And I get it, I get where Luna’s coming from, ironically the same place as Juliana in Amar a Muerte, but in the same way, it’s totally not their decision to make. 

It’s still a little bewildering to me that they glossed over why Molly seemed to be absent in their relationship lately. Of course we’re past that now but it seemed rather pointed that Molly wasn’t even picking up the call Luna placed from jail. I have a bit of a theory that I hope is totally wrong and really has no actual backing, except for how TV writers like to go for the most unexpected killer, but…what if Molly killed David? That’s why she didn’t pick up the call, that’s why she was crying when she realized Luna’d been picked up for it and why she was so sure Luna hadn’t done it?

I really, really love Joanna being so much on Luna’s side. I was afraid her doubt would be one of the bigger plot points for this arc, and it might still come up later, but at the moment, Joanna would do anything for her, probably the only person in the world with that status.

I don’t know if you’ve talked about this.. when lucho and juls mum find out about juliantine they not only tell them it’s wrong they physically attack val :(( it’s pretty horrible to watch and I can’t stop thinking about how much trauma she’s been through

Omg, I haven’t talked about it, but I did notice that. I did notice the parallels in Juls and Val defending their girls, and Juls tried to step in when Lucho went after Val, but god, Val is the immediate target so often. I thought that might have been one of the reasons they zoomed in on her during the Lupe scene, but she didn’t seem to be reacting to it in the end.

She’s been through so much and it’s kind of impressive that she gets to show it? I’ve mentioned before how Juliantina seems so separate in how natural it is, even from the other AAM stories, but it shows even in this. Lucia gets kidnapped like it’s her job and she bounces back, while Val literally had panic attacks, didn’t want to leave the house, was still spooked by every little noise, still feared the cartel, her family held multiple worried conversations about her, Camilo had to come talk to her, she needed meds to calm down. How often does that happen?

And yes, the presence and thoughts of Juls eventually took over and maybe that’s a bit too TV romantic, but it’s not like it was an instant thing, she even hung up on her initially. It was actually her defense of Juls, during the talk with Lucia, and the niggling thought that their relationship might not be real, that actually distracted her. That’s fair enough. And if it led to sitting on top of Juls while looking at her jawline as Camilo babbled about transmigration, well, we’ve seen Barbara Lopez, that’s actually pretty realistic.

I don’t get why people are saying she murdered his ego. what does it have to do with him what she got what she wanted?

The way Lucho approached that conversation was him saying that until Juls took advantage of Val, Val was fine and happy with Lucho. That if it hadn’t been for Juls interfering, Val would be in love with and satisfied with Lucho. 

Val was basically saying, nope, it wasn’t her pursuing me and taking me from you, I went after her, implying how little she felt for Lucho.

for the anon confused about it being a Sunday finale, here in Mexico p much all big telenovelas make a big deal out of their finale because they’re meant to have just one big run and that’s usually the end of the story (unless they’re done as a series, which is another thing), so they give it this big slot on sundays so everyone can watch it and they’re sometimes 2 hours long.

1- Anon, why you need you need to be so rude with her!? ? 2- I’m not sure the day is going to end but some telenovelas end saturday or sunday because they make it a 2-3 hours episode. And is easy for them to move the schedule they have for the weekend (because most of the time are movies or shows like reto 4 elementos, exatlon, etc) than moving the others telenovelas that they have after the one is ending

Cont from last ask. The siege and with Chloe deciding to not attend the wedding due to her feelings. So if I were in his shoes and my fiancee left me and got with one of siblings I would be understandably upset. I feel like a path they could take would be for Elly to slowly realize her feelings whether it be she is Bi or she simply has feelings for Chloe alone like juliantina and sit down and have a conversation with him and Chloe where she states she needs time to figure everything out.

Sorry, I forgot about this till now, but I never got the first part of this. But I kind of get what you’re saying, in regards to where they could go with Chelly? That there’s a possibility they could still go for it? I guess everyone’s still waiting to see where it goes before recommending it to others.

It really bothered me that when Lupe was ranting at Juls after finding out about her and Val she said that Juls got distracted by Val’s wealth and flashy things. Im guessing she was trying to rationalize herself into thinking that her daughter couldn’t possibly be into women, but she insinuated that her daughter was a gold digger and just: who DOES that? I hope when she comes around she apologizes for that too. (You can post this)

Mhmm, even at its kindest, to think oh my daughter was just dazzled by all these superficial things, it was implying Juls was so shallow, and like, really? She thinks Juliana Valdes is that shallow? And she’s met Valentina, who has been so gracious and so nice to her. To not know her daughter to that extent, wth. 

You’re right, it was most likely the homophobia trying to rationalize things, but that really does not make it better. And the gall, after her choice in romantic partners. Juls has put up with so much because of some really poor decisions made by Lupe, including her sticking with Chino, her ACTUALLY morally incorrect decision to chase after and defend a literal killer of human beings. But it’s Juls who’s wrong and indecent here. Pfft.

hi, i was wondering if you or any of your followers are able to watch aam episodes on univision website. i tried to watch it but on every unlocked episodes, i got an error saying the video is not available at the moment.

I can right so it might be an IP thing. I’m not sure if it’s only meant to be available within the US? I’ve never bothered trying to access it with a VPN but that’s probably it. Juls did tell vale she was in love with her already in that cafe scene after the car scene, but I read that specific perversion scene as vale realizing that yes, juls does still love vale even though they are broken up

I’m not sure about the other anon but Juliana did say I love you. She said I’m in love with you after the car scene. For Spanish is almost the same. Even better because I love you could be platonic, but the other is just romantic. Val is the one that didn’t said it. She said my love multiple times after lucho and Sergio left but that I remember she didn’t said it to Juls. Val react like that because she didn’t believe Lupe was gonna do that

Right, I did wonder about how the cafe scene compared, but I wasn’t sure of the degree of it.

Aww, yeah, that’s true. Val’s probably in a pretty confused place at the moment, first the breakup, then Juls still calling up to check on her, then Juls possibly in cahoots with their driver, then she’s not, then more flirting and a kiss while still not together. But this is confirmation that Juls really does still have feelings for her, really strong feelings she’s willing to stand up to the only person in her life for.

WAIT, how many episodes of Amar A Muerte are there left?? The previews already said it’s their “últimas semanas”? Final weeks?

Yeah, buddy. Just 17 eps left, and the last two airing together as a finale on a Sunday, so three weeks left, really.

Thanks! Juliana and Valentina meet in the 9th ep, but they both feature from the very start, you miss some of their individual story if you go from just the 9th or 10th ep. I don’t really know what you would want to do. If you know you can watch the rest of the story, I’d say start from the beginning and if you don’t like it, skip ahead or just go to the Juliantina playlist, and if you just want to watch the gay, then go directly to the playlist.
