I know this is from last night but you have to give them time! I looked at natppy1’s clip of them and it came in at 18 minutes! The blessing and curse of being part of more central plots. They’re so much more rewarding, but man, they can be intense and well, long.
Maca is Argentinian. However, she’s been working in Mexico for about 8-9 years now and undergone speech classes to neutralize her accent. She speaks almost Mexican at this point, her true accent can only be spotted every now and then. Even on interviews or when she’s talking as Maca, she no longer uses Argentinian grammar which is slightly different from grammar in Mexico.
Oh, okay, that’s cool to know.
And other helpful people chimed in too:
@myrmeen said: Not everyone is physically capable of rolling Rs. Not even in countries with languages that use them.
Yeah, you’d kind of figure that’d have to be true.
@erinkomgaykru said: My mom was born and raised in Chile and despite being fluent in Spanish does not have the physical ability to roll her Rs, it’s a whole thing that my abuela teases her about
Lol, families are like that.
@youngstar-gazer said: I wonder though, why Maca’s accent doesn’t sound Argentinian either on her normal speaking voice
I guess she’s lost it, from what anon says.
@piecebypeace said: Based on what I’ve read, Maca had to change her accent for a previous role which took place/shot in Mexico. And it likely just stuck. So she doesn’t sound Argentinian, but her accent is definitely “Mexican-ified”. Lol Also, it’s true that not all Spanish speakers or dialects roll their r’s. But I think it’s safe to say most do. Usually, it should only be rolled on double r’s (-rr). There are some exceptions. And then there are some people who roll every -r. Anyway, Maca does roll hers
Got it! I hope you see this, original anon, lol.
It might just be me but I think maca looks sooo much like lele pons (she’s from Venezuela) ???? Like first time I saw the show I thought lele went into acting. Can someone validate me plz
I…guess…the lips? Someone else validate this anon, lol, I don’t see it THAT much.
Hi, I’ve created a tutorial how to stream AAM on las estrellas website pastebin(.)com(/)y4CuBmkc
Aw, thanks, anon. Here’s the link: https://pastebin.com/raw/y4CuBmkc
If you can’t find a working VPN, this should work. I’ve used tor myself in the past, for other things (>_>), and this should be fine for the purpose. But of course, use your own judgment and do your research on taking any kind of tech advice from random people online, which includes me.
bro it’s LIT! i hope Juliana inherited a couple of her father’s… skills? lol anyway going by the preview if she’s actually going to the house, the roles inverted and now she’s the one out here ready to risk it all for Val
…I’ll save you the lecture about how Juls has risked a lot already and nobody would ask her to risk her LIFE for this, lol, and just say that I underestimated the show again. I totally didn’t expect the two of them to be in the thick of things like this. She picked up a VIDEO CALL. IN THE MIDDLE. OF. A. KIDNAPPING.
Okay… I’m disappointed.
Aw, I’m sorry. I was already just happy they were even going to the effort of releasing it (obviously unless tonight’s episode is TERRIBLE and this was all just a distraction), like, people listening to us and paying attention to us is so rare. And I loved what they added, and without the sound? Whew.
Plus, how can you not love this official art??

When is 5pm?? What’s the time difference????
6pm EST, 11pm GMT. 11 minutes from now.
I’m scared about tonight’s episode… the timing of the “complete car scene” release is scaring me too much………………………..
I don’t know that anything too bad can happen just yet, anon? There are weeks to go so far. This was probably more to do with yesterday’s ep and the current situation.
Maybe they just want that #1 spot on the fandometrics. 😛
I always thought val would be the one to break the pact since she’s always so unapologetic in going after what she wants and she has such a sheltered life until recently. This show brings so many surprises
I thought so too. She was under so much pressure, wasn’t answering the phone calls.
But I think it kind of couldn’t be her? The romance they’re selling is so epic and so star-crossed, her caving because of pressure just wouldn’t work. Of course that would be understandable in real life but in this story, it would come across as her not loving Juls enough. Instead, it broke because Juls loves her too much.
I’m really sad that juls broke the pact… it’s like there are cracks in the the foundation of trust and reliability from here on
Circumstances and context matter too. If Juls is able to explain her reasoning and why she’s changed her mind, I don’t know why Val wouldn’t understand or accept it? I think most of us, and Val especially, find it very easy to believe the best of the people we love.
