I’ve been clawing at the walls waiting for netflix to release the trailer and was hoping that cast had filmed some promo content before the pandemic. but actually I was just listening to alice on the queery podcast interview she did recently and apparently she had a couple choices between netflix and theatrical releases. which in hindsight now it turned out for the better that she went with netflix

It doesn’t even have a title card yet. I wonder if it’ll come out on time? I know most of this can be done remotely but this is all so motivation-sapping.

And yeah, although it’d have been really fun to have this movie get a full theatrical release, who knows with the numbers non-Disney movies get and it’d have been postponed anyway.

i take breaks from tumblr and whenever i pop back on i see that you are neck deep into a new fandom / show hahaha. it warms my heart to see that you are still having fun watching shows and that there are enough f/f couples out there these days worth warranting your fangirling

It wasn’t that simple, at first it was the panic and grief at the virus, and then the anger and helplessness at how badly the US federal government is handling this, but similarly to the 2016 election, sadly it’s started to become a new normal? I stopped myself from reading so much news and Twitter and it helps that work continues to be almost exactly the same, just having to work from home all five days now instead of just four. 

Once work started to make me focus on a routine again, the rest of it fell into place. Who’d have thought Station 19 would be the thing I’d happily be distracted by? Fiction’s always been a bit of an escape for me, now just more so. And I am glad that I’m able to be distracted, because at first I wasn’t watching anything, it all seemed very “what’s the point?” But I guess you just gotta work through it. 😮 Anyway, thanks for reaching out!

I think we get to at least keep Carina/Maya through the end of S19 this season. Danielle and Stefania did a live after the episode Thursday and both said they had a lot of good scenes coming up, including 1 big one they were both nervous about. Towards the end, they both commented that they couldn’t wait to get back to working together next season so, maybe we can get invested. I dunno, but they’ve got me. I can’t not like them together because their chemistry is spot on and unforced.

I did see that, I did see that, and yeah, I literally said to my friend, unless they’re JRothenberging this, pretty sure they’re at least still alive and probably still together at the end of this season, but that’s just a blink of an eye in terms of how this particular franchise treats time. Jack and Maya got together when, Vic and Ripley, Andy and Ryan, and so and now look at them. And that’s not even including the Grey’s people, who can be together for years and still implode.

But still, it’s a relief to be able to enter the hiatus knowing there’s no huge shock waiting. And I usually don’t watch these things, I just happened to be on IG for Barbara/Maca and saw Danielle’s live and I was so charmed! I didn’t know much about Stefania at all before this but she seems so interesting, all those careers and languages and the places she’s visited, and she’s funny, in a language that she learned not even that long ago. And Danielle was such a good live…host? Or whatever that’s called, lol, and the fact that she’s learning Italian so she can talk to Stefania seems so sweet, and also does bode well for the ship. Her short, dark hair looks so good! 

What a weird time to be getting into this ship and be thinking these mundane things and then being like, I hope there even is another season this year.
