I really liked this book. The protagonist wakes up in an unfamiliar body and by reading judiciously placed letters written by its previous owner, realizes what kind of trouble she’s in and what conspiracy she’s walked into.

It’s well-paced and despite its length, makes for smooth, easy reading with hilarious sarcastic humor. There’s also some adrenaline-filled action, a female lead whose strength lies in her great administrative abilities, and no romance shoe-horned in (which is rarer than you’d think).
