Femslash Revolution is very happy to announce a new event for Femslash February 2017. I Am Femslash will collect essays, opinions and discussions from a wide range of F/F creators, in order to celebrate and engage our community.
We’ve already gotten in touch with a wide range of creators, and we’re really excited about how this event will shape up. But we’re missing one crucial ingredient: you!
If you would like to participate, you’ll need to write something on a femslash-related topic of your choice. Here are some prompts to spur your imagination:
- What does femslash mean to you?
- Tell the story of your relationship with your favourite F/F pairing.
- Why do you make the things you make?
- What advice would you give to a creator just starting out?
- How do you want the community to grow and develop in future?
Constructive criticism of the community is perfectly fine, but as this is a celebration, we’d like the message to be
positive overall!There is no minimum or maximum word limit, and you can be as
formal or relaxed as you like – write in a way that feels authentic to you. But you’ll need to include a short “About
the Author” style bio with links to your blog and anywhere else you
want people to find you.Deadlines are variable throughout the month. If you need to be placed in the later half of the schedule, please let us know!

Since several people have still asked, the nominations for this event are still open. If you want to nominate someone to participate, you have until January 26th.
Nominations for this event have now closed, but it is still possible to enter yourself until January 31st.
